Read from textbook "tannin is extracted from grape skins (in red wines and
a few rare whites)". No idea of the underlined bit until today. Georgian white wine is produced with skin contact and quite unique in taste. There is no limit to knowledge.
Tried a vertical tasting of my beloved Chateau Haut Smith Lafite. 2012, 2007, 1998. Really didn't want to spit fine wine.
