Riesling in Bocksbeutel

White wine making dominates in Franken but, unusually for Germany, Riesling is not the most widely planted.  Franken is best know for dry, powerful, earthy wines bottled in a distinctive round flagon called a bocksbeutel. These wines have remained popular in Germany and are relatively rare on export markets.

A Riesling wine not commonly found in HK.
