This is the first African wine I have ever drunk.
It is the only African wine recommended in "100 Great Wines in China 2011".
Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons, Classique, 2009. 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 6% Pinotage. "The spicy and earthy wine has deep garmet red colour, dark fruit, white pepper and tar nose and spicy flavours of preserved fruit, black pepper and coffee with herbal notes. This wine has a nice roundness in the mouth and a pleasant toasty oak finish..."
Can taste out its pepper flavour and a lttle bit coffee flavour.
