Reverse aging

Medical researchers have spent a lot of time looking for ways to slow down or stop the aging process.

A scientific breakthrough has not only slowed aging down, but even reversed it in laboratory mice.

The key is something called telomeres on the tips of chromosomes.

As people and animals age, they become damaged and frayed. But scientists at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute added an enzyme to the telomeres of aged mice and essentially restored their function.

据说将来会有药物可以令人逆转衰老,最多可以逆转十年。希望有生之年看得到。
