Today I finally have my access code, user id, etc. I have chosen a P-related password. I remember I used to choose L-related or C-related passwords in the past, eg. ceci0816, ceci30b...

After finishing my dinner at home, I listened to songs. One of the songs was 漫天風雨. 輝 told me he loved this song in 1993. 硬漢 told me he loved this song in 2005.

Just come across some photos of Sharapova in the internet. So seductive...

Passed by Shenzhen today. How much I wished to leave the group and go to see P! When I finally got home, I called P immediately.

I spent most of the day in transportation and listening to arguments. How boring! More than 6 hours in land transporation is not funny.

Today is my 9th working day in the new organisation. I still have not got my access code and user id. I am surprised by its inefficiency. Yet I should love that. Because I don't want fast pace. Nor do I want excitement. I have no intention to fly high. I just want a stable job in which I can hang around till my retirement. I want a post in 交通部:

Last night I dreamed of Mag. This was quite extraordinary because I never loved her.

Mag is another ex-colleague of mine. To me, she and I are already histories. They had loved me but I didn't love them. I don't intend to meet them again. You know, it is hard to be friends any more after those emotions.

I think O had also liked me. But I didn't give her a chance to develop her feeling to a no-U-turn-point. So, we still can be friends.

Last night, Liverpool won the UE Championship after losing 0:3 to AC Milan in the first half. How marvellous! I already knew Liverpool was very lucky this year after they knocked out Chelsea earlier.

Had a chat with O toay. O is another ex-colleague of mine. Like C, she was trying very hard to be a lady. She went to learn French. She went for piano training... Moreover, she has got a lot of professional qualifications. Unfortunately, I would say her personality was her hurdle. Unlike C, she wants to be loved but cannot find it. So, she is still single. On the contrary, C doesn't want love and chooses to be single.

Who is G? G is my ex-colleague. In the past, I was very patient in teaching her. My other ex-colleagues used to tease me about my kindness to her. They would imitate me saying "慢慢做", "唔緊要, 做錯咗再做過" in a soft voice.

She got married a few months ago.

I must admit that she had added joy to my life in a male-dominated department.

Today I had my dinner in Easy Kitchen, Sheung Wan. This is a place introduced by 硬漢. I tried 海南鷄飯 and 肉骨蝦麵 in the restaurant. Their quality is not as good as what I had in Singapore. I remember Joy took me to East Coast for chicken rice and Simei for prawn noodle. They were so good...

I had a lot of memories in Singapore. With L; with C; with Joy; with M; with N... I think I will never forget my experience there.

Today I had afternoon tea with 輝 and 虹 at Langham Place. The afternoon tea sets are very economical in the Basil 香 葉 天. The price range of one set is from $15 to $28. The qualitiy of the food/drinks is good. And you can still buy one, get one free with a HSBC credit card.

This was the third time I went to Langham Place. Only at the first time did I see the floating gold fishes. There were swimming in the open space of the mall and were very cute. Where are they now?

I have got a strange idea. I don't want to pay P to make love with me. I want to pay P not to make love with others!

However, I don't know how to put it in words.

Today I received an email from 龍. It was an invitation to an event of my school. 老馮 also called me to deliver the same message. This year is my school's 35th anniversary. And the event is supposed to raise funds to relocate the school, to subsidise the students and to buy new equipment, etc.

I forwarded the email to 硬漢. Yet, I don't think I will go because I don't have a sense of belonging to the school any more. Anyway, I will not be in HK on that day...

Today I have got a new challenge. I am a little disappointed because there are no 妹妹仔. Anyway, I hope it is a stable job. I am not young and don't want to be aggressive any more.

Yesterday I went to see P again. We met in Laurel Restaurant. Suddenly she received a call from her sister H. P told me H didn't have money to buy lunch. Of course, I asked her to invite H to join us. This was the first time I saw H. I would say P is prettier than H.

We then went to have sauna and massage. I hoped the sisters enjoyed it. Afterwards, we went to the restaurant employing H to have dinner. Finally, we went shopping (I bought P a pair of shoes) and gave her a lift to her workplace.

I spent a lot of money for the day (including financial assistance to the sisters). No sex. But I was happy.

On my way home, I was very 感慨 because I wouldn't be able to see P so often any more.

After getting a job offer a few days ago, I have already spent a lot of money on shopping, dining and entertaining. I think I must be mindful of my spending behavior. I don't want to be in financial distress again.
This afternoon 大種乞兒 had dessert in Haagen-Dazs. It costed him over $100.

Today I saw a familiar face in "體育世界". It was J. She was doing some outdoor competition which required a lot of strength and endurance. It reminded me of another woman - Joy. Both of them have quite a number of similiarities. For God's sake, I can't imagine I will join such kind of competition. I am not a hero.

The results of a survey were recently published. The survey was about the starting salaries of HK fresh graduates in 2004. To my surprise, the average starting salary had risen to about $11,000 per month. But what really disturbed me was the highest salary of a fresh graduate in an investment bank could reach $49,000 per month! I can't believe it!

Last evening I had a drink with 硬漢. He told me a fresh graduate passing the actuaries's exam might reach $90,000! He was not the first one to tell me about this. My uncle had also told me the same thing about 2 years ago. I don't understand. I have also studied Actuarial Science in university. Not very interesting and not particularly difficult (it is not Rocket Science). According to market forces, if an actuary can earn so much money, people will rush to study to become an actuary. Given there is no entry barriers, the remuneration in such a profession will be driven down by the invisible hand of supply and demand. So, I see no reason why an acturary without experience can earn so much money (unless he is the son of a tycoon and he works for his family business).

I met P and we talked about many things. Yet I didn't tell her I would not be able to see her so often.

Even though I will not meet her so frequently, I really want to help her to change a better job. See what I can help her...

I then went to visit 虹 in HK Convention Centre. She was very energetic with her new business. Good for her. I tried a lot of food and drinks there. Fortunately I didn't have my lunch before I went to the exhibition.

Good News. My connection to the Internet is back to normal!

Woke up very early this morning. Planning to go to see P at noon and then go to an exhibition in the afternoon.

Sleepless for the whole night. Though I should be happy because I finally saw a spot of light at the end of a tunnel, I was struggling with a decision. Over the last few weeks, I have said so many prayers to ask for a particular job. Now the offer eventually comes. But it seems that I am not going to accept it. "Life is like a box of chocolate. You'll never know what you gonna get."

I had a nightmare last night:
It happened that I was in a town-house with someone, mom, 硬漢 and many others. P and 翠鳥 suddenly came to visit us. Somehow P discovered my marital status and became very angry...

When I woke up, my heart sunk.

Yesterday I watched a special TV program about light pollution. I had heard of air pollution, water pollution and sound pollution. This was the first time I heard about light pollution. Anyway, one of the results of light pollution is that people can no longer enjoy seeing the beautiful stars. I totally agree because the city light prevents me from seeing the starry night in Hong Kong. I know it can be very beautiful because I had the chance of seeing the wonderful starry night in North Cape of New Zealand in Feb 1999. On that particular trip, 硬漢 and I travelled to the northern tip of North Island, our car had a small accident and we were forced to stay in a remote countryside with virtually no light at all. Yet, I was pleased to see the beauty of the stars which I would otherwise never be able to see.

I forget the age of my mom. I think she is now 74 or 75.

A big auntie is visiting P. I brought her a few bottles of chicken essence. She asked me if I wanted her to have her breasts enlarged. I said no. Big is great; small is beautiful. And deep in my heart, I associate small breasts with puppy love.

I heard a news about a massive layoff of 硬漢's company and asked him. He told me whatever I knew from the mass media, it had already happened for a while. Obviously, it is the evidence of a weak form of market efficiency.

Today is 立夏 which signifies the end of spring and the beginning of summer.
It was my nth interview with a certain bank at 5:00pm on May 5 2005 (05/05/05). Is it a sign of something?
