After looking at the old photos, I was quite upset. Unlike 硬漢 who strives for higher needs such as recognition and self-actualization. I am at the low end, deriving pleasure from food, shelter and sex. Yet he is happier than me. I think one of the reasons is his personality. He is more optimistic and rational than me.
佛家説: 人閒苦惱源於執著。 I think it may be happier to be a less evolved species. 子非魚, 焉知魚之樂。
