Canada's Trip: Day 5 of 8

Got up early and drove all the way north to Whistler via the renowned Highway 99 (also known as Sea-to-Sky Highway). The Whistler village was beautiful. Daytime was hot and too sunny. And it was a pity that they had just stopped operating the daily gondola service 2 days ago.

Canada' Trip - Day 2 of 8

Started our 2-day tour to Vancouver Island. Since I had been there before, I did not have much excitement. The first destination is the Butchart Gardens which is a must for all tours to Victoria.

My friend S treated us to Vietnamese food in the evening. Afterwards, we went to La Casa Gelato, which is claimed to be the only place in the world with 218 flavours.

拍案稱奇

Society:
The legal age of sexual intercourse is 16 but the legal age of anal sex is 21. A judge in Hong Kong has claimed the legal age of the latter is discriminating. Though opponents say it is not discriminating in the sense that the legal age of opposite sexes engaging in such acitivity is also 21, the lawyer argued that it is still discriminating because it is the only means of homosexual activity in a male-male scenario.

Travel:
Jetour is organising a 19-day tour to Antarctica. The tour fee is HKD63,998 per head.

Hong Kong-Styled Efficiency

Two missing screws (for my old bed) had upset me very much lately. Today I finally found an alternative solution. I threw away the old bed and bought a new one.

By the way, 硬漢 would go for a business trip to Macau tomorrow. I wish him great fun.
