Woke up at 8:00am this morning. Could not find my new runners. I thought they were stolen. But it did not deter me from jogging 3km in Crescent Park.
When I returned home, I immediately saw my sport shoes. Someone told me the maid had put them in another storage area.
N's mom were very upset this evening because she found her jewellery was gone....

K-1
There were only programs in Japanese on hotel TV. No choice at all. But tonight I got something to watch. It was the fierce K-1 competition.
K-1 is a martial arts fighting sport which fuses centuries of tradition from martial arts such as karate, kung fu, tae kwon do and kickboxing (the "K") into a thoroughly modern and electrifying spectator sport, to determine the single best stand-up fighter in the world (the "1").
The 7-feet Dutch Semmy Schilt is the winner this year. Probably because of his height, he easily knocked down his rivals.

恭喜! 恭喜?
偉哥 called me 2 days ago, telling he had just become a father. His wife gave birth to a baby boy in the morning of 11-Nov. I congratulated him but I was not sure it was really great. Nowadays raising a child is quite a burden to the parents. And for the kid, to live a happy life is not easy at all...
PS: On the same day, the "friendlies" were also born for 2008 Beijing Olympics. 一個字: 娘!

Ashes of Time
Went to see P. Had a very long chat. We talked about many topics, including what to plant in summer and what to plant in winter. She is planning to quit in 2 months' time. Then she will go home and stay there for about a month. I have asked her not to come back if there happens to have opportunities for her...
When I was taking a shower in the place, suddenly I heard familiar music. I looked up to the TV and saw it was showing "Ashes of Time". And the scene was 慕容燕 tenderly caressing 歐陽鋒 while she was imagining he were 黃藥師 and he was imagining she were 嫂子. Very sad. And this has happened in my life many times.

The Philosophy of Gambling
Discussed with 硬漢 in the last 2 days about gambling. He said the purpose of gambling is to win money. I don't agree. Winning money is not the sole purpose of gambling. We all know the gambling is an unfair game. Most forms of gambling are in favour of the banker (except blackjack and mahjong). So, you would lose money in the long run.
To me, the main purpose of gambling is to seek excitement. Or put it the other way, I enjoy the process more than the result. The same as I enjoy flirting.
